Gravel vs Pavement: What you Should Know

Gravel Riding Tips:

  • Go with wider tires and lower pressure for better grip and comfort
  • Carry a tire plug kit especially on gravel that is sharp and loose
  • Expect mixed riding conditions, especially after rain

Pavement Riding Tips:

  • Keep your drivetrain clean and chain lubed or efficiency over long miles
  • Check your brake pads especially if you’re riding hills
  • A proper bike fit can make or break your day on rolling terrain.
