Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my mountain bike needs a suspension overhaul?
If you’re noticing reduced performance, clunking sounds, oil leaks, or your suspension feels harsh or dead — it’s time. Our Full Suspension MTB Overhaul will restore that buttery-smooth ride.
How often should I service my full suspension mountain bike?
We recommend a mid-season suspension service every 50 hours of riding and a complete overhaul every 100–125 hours. Regular maintenance ensures your bike performs its best on XC, Enduro, and Downhill terrain.
What types of suspension & dropper post services do you offer?
We offer a full range of MTB suspension and dropper post services to keep your ride smooth, responsive, and trail-ready.
Our Mid-Season Service keeps XC, Enduro, and Downhill setups running smooth between full overhauls with fresh oil, new wipers and foam rings, and internal cleaning. For complete performance restoration, our Full Fork Service with Damper Rebuild delivers a full overhaul—including damper and air spring rebuild, new seals, and full reassembly for peak suspension performance.
Our Shock Air Sleeve Service includes disassembly of shock air can for cleaning, inspection, and replacement of seals and manufacturer specified bath oil.
And for your seatpost, our Dropper Post Rebuild ensures proper function. We service MTB dropper posts across all major brands and handle installation, cable replacement, and hydraulic repair.
What’s included in a full suspension MTB service?
Our service includes fork and shock disassembly, damper rebuilds, new seals, fresh oil, and a full performance inspection. Perfect for Enduro and Downhill riders needing peak performance on technical trails.
Do you tune suspension for different riding styles?
Yes. Whether you’re riding Cross Country, Enduro, or Downhill, we offer custom tuning to optimize rebound, compression, and air pressure for your weight, terrain, and riding style.
Do you offer dropper post installation and repair?
Yes! We install, adjust, and service dropper posts, including hydraulic bleeding, cable replacement, and seatpost tuning for all mountain bike styles, from cross-country to downhill.
Can you fix a dropper post that’s not returning properly?
Yes! This is often caused by air pressure loss, hydraulic failure, or worn seals. We’ll inspect and rebuild your dropper post so it returns smoothly every time.
Can I ship my suspension or dropper post for service?
Absolutely. Riders from all over Michigan and the U.S. ship their components to us. Just fill out our service request form to get started. We’ll send you shipping instructions and turnaround times.
